"My Country Tis Of Three"

Why not...here's another Market piece.  This will be a limited early release for Market shoppers.  "My Country Tis Of Three" (containing all three designs) will officially be released by Hoffman Distributing sometime in April . . . but since it's fun to have something no one else has . . . I'll let some of them go early.  These were fun and quick stitches and who doesn't know a service person that wouldn't appreciate a "thank you"?

Shake Your Tail Feathers

I am wearing this stunning peacock necklace to share this fun cheeky piece. "Shake Your Tail Feathers" is a limited release...once the feathers are gone, so is the pattern. Peacocks shed their large feathers. These small feathers are only plucked once the bird is deceased. (These birds died a natural death and were not killed for their feathers) The pattern includes a genuine peacock feather as well as a rusty heart button.

Today concludes my presentation of The Nebby Needle fair for the Nashville Market...Bob's your uncle!

 Cheerio!

Love Blooms

Do forgive my tardiness today. Bonny had to go pick up the last two designs from her brilliant framer at the Carriage House shop in Kingsport, TN. She left Monty and I as dog-minders for her beloved Myška while she was gone. Monty and Myška had a jolly good time together.

This lovely piece called "Love Blooms", in addition to being a sweet sampler, would make a brilliant wedding, family or birth sampler. Bonny has put her initials and her husband's on the little pillow with their wedding year. You could easily put your children's' names below with their birth years. The possibilities are endless! I just may stitch this one on my trip home for my grandson Will's family...how utterly lovely!

Stay Strong

Keep Calm and Carry On was a motivational poster produced by the British government in 1939 in preparation for the Second World War. The poster was intended to raise the morale of the British public, threatened with widely predicted mass air attacks on major cities. I (the Queen) was a young teenager at the time.

Not to make light of our wartime poster...Monty and I are trying to keep WARM and carry on here in Tennessee while revealing the Market releases from The Nebby Needle. Bonny is releasing "Stay Strong" as another Ripple Effect* pattern . There are two options shown here with two different crowns allowing one to be made for a cancer patient (you can use whichever color ribbon is appropriate) or the other bead-embellished crown for anyone that needs the encouragement to stay strong.

*Ripple Effect Patterns was formed from an idea of Meg Ripple's.  An avid stitcher, Meg asked several designers to design cross stitch patterns of inspiration for her fellow cancer patients.  Although Meg lost her battle, we carry on her vision with this pattern.  The profits from the Ripple Effect Patterns are donated to the American Cancer Society in Meg's memory.

Peace On Earth

Another splendid (snowy) day in America to show you another Market release from The Nebby Needle. I am impassioned to share this message in "Peace On Earth". If I were participating in a pageant, my platform would indeed be "Peace On Earth". Bonny was inspired to do this piece after the tragedies in Paris and San Bernardino and asks that you keep the victims and families in your prayers and continue to do your part in promoting peace on earth.

Royal Doodle Sampler

Good morning! Had my spot of tea this morning while Monty and I admired this lovely sampler from The Nebby Needle called "Royal Doodle Sampler". The alphabet from A to Zed is "doodled" with embellishments . . . delightful! The tulips in the corners and heart remind me of the tulips that bloom around the Victoria Memorial outside the Palace...ever so stunning in the spring! The crowns, of which I have many, add a splendid touch . . . almost looks like I'm wearing one! Have a stunning day . . . Spring will be here before you know it!

The Queen Has Arrived!

"Hello my dear cross stitch subjects! I am delighted to be stateside! I am looking forward to presenting the new Nashville Market releases from The Nebby Needle beginning Monday. Monty (one of my beloved corgis) and I will be attending the Market in a few weeks. Today, Monty and I visited a brilliant cross stitch shop in Johnson City, TN (Cross Stitch & Crafts). We had a most wonderful day visiting with stitchers and customers. Cheerio until Monday!"
